Reggae mixes

Reggae is Jamaica's offbeat music: a skanking guitar on the off-beat, a heavy bassline and a relaxed one-drop rhythm. Play a finished set below, or start a reggae set with the AI DJ and it never runs out.

Reggae, answered

What BPM is reggae?

Usually 70 to 100 beats per minute. Beatomat keeps a reggae set inside that window and only pairs records whose keys sound good together.

What does reggae sound like?

Off-beat chops, deep bass and space in the mix, slow and rolling.

Can I mix reggae myself in the browser?

Yes. Open Beatomat Decks: two decks, a three-band EQ, hot cues, loops and effects, and every record shows its tempo and key, so you can see which ones will blend before you try.

Are these mixes free?

Yes. Every finished mix plays free in any browser, without an account. Free includes 30 minutes of mixing a day; the paid plan removes the limit.
