About Beatomat
A DJ in your browser.
Beatomat plays music the way a DJ does: it chooses each next record and mixes it into the one that is playing, in key and in time. Let the AI DJ run the set, or take the decks and mix it yourself. Listening is free, and nothing needs installing.
Three ways to listen
The AI DJ
Pick how the set opens and it carries on from there, choosing only records close to the tempo on air and in a key that mixes. An AI model may reorder that shortlist; it never adds to it, and the music never waits for it.
How the AI DJ works →The decks
Two decks and a mixer: a three-band EQ, hot cues, loops and effects, over a crate of 9,000+ records that each show their tempo and key. Hand the set back to the AI DJ at any moment.
What is on the decks →Finished mixes
Sets already mixed end to end, by genre and by mood. Play one from the start or from any record in it, and when it ends the AI DJ can keep going from its last record.
Browse the mixes →Where the music comes from
None of it is Beatomat's. The crate is independent artists who publish on Audius and the Internet Archive; Beatomat analyses those records for tempo, key and beats, which is what lets it hold two of them together for a long blend. The records everybody knows play from YouTube in YouTube's own player, so they get shorter mixes and no effects. Every record is credited to the account that uploaded it: the Credits panel on the deck names each one with its licence.

Free to listen
Every mix and the AI DJ are free, for as long as you like. Free includes 30 minutes of mixing a day and two effects; a paid plan that lifts both limits is on the way.
